USA ELIZABETH MICHAELS

We are so proud of our family.  Lena Huynh, who has worked for Elizabeth Michaels for some time now, was first runner-up in the WV Teen USA pageant.  Lena is an extremely accomplished young woman.  She speaks three languages fluently and is a straight A student as well as Parkersburg High School’s Student Body president.

Lena aspires to become a physician, specializing in plastic surgery.  A teacher at her school shared her journey through breast cancer and her decision to have her breast restored through plastic surgery.  This journey became the decision maker for Lena as to her specialty.

Lena wore a beautiful Sherri Hill gown with white beaded sweetheart neckline and silk butterfly flowing skirt.  The finishing touch was a wide turquoise bow.

Jessica Schueler became a part of our lives when she won the first WV Outstanding Teen pageant.  What an awesome young woman!!!  Jessica became involved with the Princess Mentor program after she gave up her crown.  Jessica is attending college now and is currently the WV Timber and Wood Queen.  She will be competing in January at the State Fairs and Festivals pageant.  Good Luck Jessica

At USA Jessica wore a stunning black knit by Jim Ball of WOW Prom and Pageant. The gown had a deep V neckline with a large rhinestone pin at the waist.  It features a cap sleeve.  We have never seen Jessica look more beautiful.

Erica Jade has been a part of Elizabeth Michaels life since the beginning.  Erica worked for us as well.  We came to love Erica and her mom Malinda as family.  Erica wanted to compete and win in pageants that were local and had meaning to her.  She won Salem Apple Butter, a county that had roots in her family and the WV Oil and Gas pageants.  She went on to win the state title, Miss WV Teen United States and placed 2 runner-up at the national competition. 

One of the things I love about Erica is her sense of fashion.  A topic she is pursuing in college.  Erica loves antiques and has quite a collection as well as a nice wardrobe of vintage clothing. Erica takes an old dress, usually polyester, and with the help of Brenda McCann turns it into a to die for item.  And SHOES, no one has more that Erica!!  Erica always looks like she just stepped out of the band box!

Erica has worked hard on her pageant goals and I believe we will see her in the winner’s circle again.  Erica wore a stunning red gown by Selena of Canada.  Good luck to Erica in all that you do.

Alyssa Thompson is the sweetest teen you would every want to know.  She always has a big smile on her face and is sooo appreciative of everything you do for her.  Her mom is just like her.  Alyssa is a fairly new member of the Elizabeth Michaels family but we hope to see her for many years to come.  We are sure the WV Strawberry Teen title is just the first of many for her.

We are so proud of Alyssa making the top twelve in Teen USA.  She wore a beautiful Tony Bowls gown of pink and white layered ruffles.  The sweetheart neckline was the perfect finish.  A few scattered crystals made the gown sparkle under the stage lights.  Alyssa resides in Jackson County West Virginia the home of many other statepageant winners, Jessice Wedge, Talia Markum,  Kristen Morrison and the Thomas sisters, Amanda and Monica.  Alyssa will find herself in the winner’s circle as well.
